Equipment Maintenance Engineer in the Technical Department

Saigon Gateway Port Joint Stock Company announces the recruitment of personnel for the Technical Department as follows:
1. Position title and number of vacancies:
– 01 Equipment Maintenance Engineer
2. Candidates:

3. Job description:
* Job purpose: Operating, inspecting, monitoring, repairing, maintaining, and managing the maintenance of structural equipment, propulsion systems, equipment, handling tools, inland waterway vessels, mooring buoys, and construction equipment; conducting periodic safety inspections of machinery and equipment in production and exploitation operations.
* Main responsibilities:
– Develop and implement a strategy for the development of port handling and operation technology and techniques:
+ Assess the current situation, collect data, propose objectives and solutions for developing a strategy in the assigned field.
+ Collect data, analyze, report, and propose implementation plans for the business strategy in the assigned area.
+ Collect data, compile reports, and participate in evaluating the results of implementing plans and strategies in the assigned area.
– Managing and developing the technical and technological aspects of port handling and operation:
+ Managing and developing infrastructure, machinery, and equipment in the operation and provision of services (implementation, coordination, guidance, inspection, monitoring, and support) in the field of Equipment Maintenance to customers.
+ Managing and developing technology in the exploitation and provision of equipment maintenance services to customers.
+ Maintenance and servicing of infrastructure, machinery, and equipment used in the operation and provision of services in the field of Equipment Maintenance to customers.
+ Advise on the procurement and distribution of supplies, spare parts, materials, and fuel related to the Company's Equipment Maintenance field.
+ Develop and update technical and technological regulations related to the Company's Equipment Maintenance field.
+ Monitor the implementation of technical and technological regulations in the field of Equipment Maintenance of the Company.
+ Managing technical and technological risks in the field of Equipment Maintenance.
– Other tasks:
+ Advise on the implementation of the company's innovation activities.
+ Advise on standardizing operational/business processes.
+ Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors.
* Job requirements:
– Qualifications: University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or equivalent.
– Professional experience: Having 48 months of actual work experience in the same professional field.
– Professional competence:
+ Operating machinery and equipment;
+ Develop plans, guidelines, and procedures for maintenance and repair;
+ Establish standards;
+ Develop plans, guidelines, and procedures for loading and unloading;
+ Supplier selection
– Computer skills: Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications / Proficient in specialized professional applications.
– Foreign language proficiency: English – Proficient in reading, translating, and communicating in professional contexts.
– Other skills:
+ Problem solving and decision making;
+ Communication and persuasion;
+ Database organization and management
