From Phu My bridge to Mai Chi Tho, Dong Van Cong, Vo Chi Cong axes\u2026 the endless stream of vehicles turns the main roads into \u201chot spots\u201d of traffic jams and accidents.<\/p>\n

Accounting for the majority of the country's import-export container output, Tan Cang - Cat Lai port is operating at a growth rate far beyond the capacity of its infrastructure. While digital transformation has helped shorten the time for customs clearance, outside, the My Thuy and An Phu intersections are still "suffocating" because of waiting vehicles and congested goods. Although the infrastructure is overloaded, empty container yards still occupy land along the roads around the port, exposing loopholes in traffic and logistics management.<\/p>\n

In the Hiep Phuoc area \u2013 where the city\u2019s new modern port cluster is expected to be formed, many internal roads have deteriorated, and inter-port connections have not been completed. Road D3 is now peeling, full of potholes, posing a potential risk to traffic safety. In particular, the D3-D24 intersections are currently blocked in an inexplicable way, forcing vehicles to go around the old route, even though it is further (?).<\/p>\n

The above situation not only puts pressure on urban traffic but also increases logistics costs, dragging down the competitiveness of the entire economy. In the post-merger context, Ho Chi Minh City aims to become a regional logistics center of Asia, the need for a synchronous infrastructure planning, a seamless connection network and the application of smart traffic management technology is becoming more urgent than ever.<\/p>\n
