Today, October 2, 2025, Mr. Nguyen Le Chon Tam - General Director of Saigon Port Joint Stock Company (Saigon Port) and the Board of Directors visited and worked at important Joint Venture Ports in the Cai Mep - Thi Vai area: SSIT (Saigon Port International Container Services Joint Venture Company - SSA), CMIT (Cai Mep International Terminal Company Limited), and SP-PSA (SP-PSA International Terminal Company Limited).

The working trip aims to closely grasp the operational and business situation of the Joint Venture Ports in the past 9 months of 2025, and at the same time, discuss and evaluate with the Ports' Board of Directors the achieved goals and the challenges they are facing.

At the working sessions, Mr. Nguyen Le Chon Tam - General Director of Saigon Port listened to detailed reports on throughput, operational efficiency, cost management and solutions to optimize competitiveness. He highly appreciated the efforts and positive business results that the Joint Venture Ports have achieved, contributing to the overall development of Saigon Port, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) and the Vietnam Maritime Industry.

In particular, the General Director and the Board of Directors focused on discussing the plan for the last 3 months of 2025. The parties agreed on key solutions to: Ensure absolute safety in exploitation and operation, increase loading and unloading efficiency and customer service quality, and promote optimization solutions to exceed the business targets set for 2025.

This visit and working session is an annual activity, demonstrating the deep concern and commitment to close cooperation of the Saigon Port Board of Directors to strengthen the relationship, while adding strong motivation for the 03 joint venture seaports to continue to reach new heights, contributing increasingly to the development of Vietnam's maritime industry.
