SAIGON – HIEP PHUOC PORT COMMENCES CONSTRUCTION OF WAREHOUSES 3 & 4, BREAKTHROUGH IN LOGISTICS CAPACITY AND SERVICES

On the morning of November 21, 2025, at the headquarters area (D10C Street D3, Hiep Phuoc Commune, Ho Chi Minh City), Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port solemnly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the construction of two strategic projects: Warehouse 3 and Warehouse 4. This event marks an important step forward, affirming the determination to expand infrastructure, improve service quality and be ready to meet the strong development needs of the logistics market in the Southern region.

Perspective of Warehouse 3, Warehouse 4 and future warehouses at Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port

The event took place in a solemn atmosphere with the presence of senior leaders. On the side of Saigon Port Joint Stock Company and Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port, there were Mr. Huynh Van Cuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon Port Joint Stock Company, Mr. Nguyen Le Chon Tam - General Director of Saigon Port Joint Stock Company and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port, Mr. Nguyen Anh Hao - Acting General Director of Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port, and the Board of Directors of the two units. On the side of strategic partners: The event also had the presence of representatives of the BCC (Business Cooperation Contract) Joint Stock Company including: Tien Phat Real Estate Investment Development Company Limited (Tien Phat), Tan Thuan Phong Logistics Company (Tan Thuan Phong), and Ton Dong A Joint Stock Company (Ton Dong A).

With the addition of Warehouse 3 and Warehouse 4, Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port will have a total system area of over 17,000 square meters, thereby increasing the total cargo rotation capacity to about 800,000 tons/year. The project not only meets the rapidly increasing demand for storage, distribution and transit of goods but also lays the foundation for the formation of an international standard port logistics service chain, contributing to improving competitiveness and expanding the exploitation scale of the port area in the new period.

The project is implemented under the flexible BCC (Business Cooperation Contract) model between Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port and the consortium of Tien Phat Real Estate Investment Development Company Limited, Tan Thuan Phong Logistics Company and Ton Dong A Joint Stock Company.

This model allows for flexible combination of resources from partner enterprises with the professional experience in managing and exploiting seaport infrastructure of Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port. This synergy is the key to improving investment efficiency as well as optimizing the capacity to exploit infrastructure for logistics services.

Mr. Nguyen Le Chon Tam - General Director of Saigon Port and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port delivered the opening speech at the groundbreaking ceremony of Warehouse 3 and Warehouse 4.

In his opening speech at the Groundbreaking Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Le Chon Tam - General Director of Saigon Port and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port, represented the Board of Directors to speak, emphasizing the importance of cooperation: “The project that started today is a vivid demonstration of the development strategy based on connection and innovation. On behalf of the leaders of Saigon Port and Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port, I highly appreciate the cooperation agreements that have been reached and sincerely thank strategic partners such as Tien Phat, Tan Thuan Phong, Ton Dong A and Vinh Quan who have been and are continuing to accompany us. We are all moving towards a common motto: “Connecting partners – Sharing resources – Serving customers”, turning challenges into opportunities and achieving success together."

As the Investor and direct operator of these two strategic warehouses, Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port commits to working with the Tien Phat, Tan Thuan Phong, and Ton Dong A Joint Venture to focus all resources to complete Warehouse 3 and Warehouse 4 according to plan, ensuring construction quality and modern equipment, ready for operation as soon as possible.

Continuously improve management quality, invest in applying modern technology to warehouse operations, provide a comprehensive and cost-optimized logistics service chain for customers while maintaining sustainable and effective cooperative relationships with partners, jointly develop the ecosystem and contribute to the overall growth of the logistics industry.

The groundbreaking event of Warehouse 3 and Warehouse 4 is important milestone, The 2 warehouses that will soon be put into operation will become a solid foundation, enhancing competitiveness and affirming the pioneering role of Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port on the Vietnam logistics map. The success of this project will be a solid foundation for the Port to continue developing the next warehouses in the system on the 16.8ha land plots and the 3.8ha area, ... contributing to the overall growth of the national logistics industry.
