Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port welcomes 'super ship' Viking Venus, affirming its position as a gateway tourism destination for Ho Chi Minh City

At 10:55 a.m. on March 25, 2025, Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port solemnly welcomed the cruise ship Viking Venus, one of the largest passenger ships to dock at the port since the beginning of 2025. The ship has a tonnage of 4,667DWT, length of 228.3m, width of 28.8m and clearance of 44m, safely and smoothly docking at pier CT02.

The Viking Venus, arriving from Norway, carrying 945 passengers and 435 crew members, marked an important event in promoting cruise tourism in the Ho Chi Minh City area. The docking process took place smoothly, strictly following international maritime procedures and standards, demonstrating the professionalism and capacity of Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port.
