Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port welcomes two 'super yachts' at the same time, affirming its position as the gateway to International Sea Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event of two large international cruise ships, Viking Orion and Viking Venus, safely docking at Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port on October 27-28, 2025 has left a very special mark, demonstrating the Port's tireless efforts and outstanding success in recent times.

Welcoming two giant cruise ships at the same time, especially each ship is large in size (228.3m long, 28.8m wide) carrying nearly 1,000 passengers, requiring high technical requirements and reception capacity like Viking Orion and Viking Venus, is not only a symbolic event but also a feat demonstrating the comprehensive capacity of Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port.

From ensuring the depth of the channel, arranging optimal wharves, to security and safety, customs procedures, and logistics to support tourists. At the same time, all officers and employees of the Port have worked hard and closely coordinated with the authorities to ensure the process of welcoming ships takes place in the safest and most professional manner.

This event has firmly consolidated the position of Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port not only as a key cargo port but also as a prestigious sea tourism gateway port, ready to receive large-scale international passenger ships.
