Saigon Port – An ideal stopover for cruises

As the last days of the old year pass, the atmosphere of welcoming the new year 2025 is bustling everywhere. This is an opportunity to look back on the past journey with beautiful memories and challenges that we have experienced, and it is also a time to look forward with a ready and determined mindset.

In the bustling atmosphere of the first days of the year, Saigon Port became the center of attention when it consecutively welcomed three large-tonnage international passenger ships. This was not only an important event for the maritime transport industry but also an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to introduce its dynamic, modern and culturally rich image to international friends. The ships carrying hundreds of tourists from all over the world contributed to brightening the picture of trade and tourism of one of the largest seaports in the South.

January 11, 2025, Silver Whisper – symbol of luxury and sophistication at sea – is the first of three ships to dock at Saigon Port. With a length of 182 meters, the ship carries more than 600 people, including passengers and crew, on a 124-day journey through 28 countries from the US to New Zealand. The Silver Whisper is a masterpiece of the luxury cruise line Silversea, designed as a mobile 5-star hotel at sea. The cabins are all spacious suites, equipped with private balconies and sophisticated interiors, bringing maximum comfort to visitors. In addition, the ship also owns many modern amenities such as a high-class restaurant with a diverse menu, a luxurious bar, an outdoor swimming pool, and a relaxing spa with professional health care treatments. After 03 days of visiting locations in Ho Chi Minh City, the ship will continue to take passengers to Chan May Port (Hue city) to continue exploring the coastal beauty of the S-shaped country.
