On the morning of July 7, 2024, a working delegation from the Philippine Department of Agriculture led by Mr. Francisco P.Tiu Laurel, Jr. - Minister visited and worked with Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port at Hiep Phuoc Industrial Park, Hiep Phuoc Commune, Nha Be District, Ho Chi Minh City.

It is known that during the working trip from July 6 to 9, 2024 to visit Vietnam, the delegation of the Philippine Minister of Agriculture spent time visiting the infrastructure and equipment for loading and unloading, transporting rice and agricultural products at Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port.

Representatives of Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port, Mr. Nguyen Anh Hao – Deputy General Director and Mr. Vo Xuan Binh – General Director of Saigon Port Logistics Joint Stock Company (SPL) respectfully welcomed the delegation and introduced the products being exploited at the port, and talked about Saigon – Hiep Phuoc Port striving to become a center for packing rice and agricultural products for export to countries in the intra-Asian region in the future.
